Atalanta Women aims to address the long-standing issue of female underrepresentation in historical narratives and contemporary media. Through a tab bar structure, the app offers seamless navigation to explore unique historical content. The Today Tab features a different women's achievement each day throughout the year that corresponds to the date, while the Search Tab enables users to discover the roughly 370 women cataloged in the app across categories such as Art, Literature, Sports, Science, Politics, and Other. Save preferred stories in the Favorites Tab and delve into the backstory of the app, including how it earned its name, through the About Tab.

Searching "women" in the app store yields results primarily focused on clothing, fitness, and health tracking applications. For more substantial content related to female empowerment, users often have to search for terms such as "women empowerment," with limited outcomes. Atalanta Women strives to rectify the historical oversight of countless remarkable women and raise awareness about their often unrecognized contributions. Many women who have made significant impacts are omitted from traditional historical narratives, depriving young girls and women of influential female role models. By downloading Atalanta Women, users can uncover the stories of these overlooked women from history and find inspiration to accomplish similar feats.
